Due to continued growth, our client is looking to employ a personable and motivated Technical Support Engineer.
Responsibilities:
1. Support Sales team, external engineers, and customers with product information and technical support.
2. Attend customer sites to repair products in the field.
3. Train external service engineers as required.
4. Retro-fit equipment to fulfill customer orders.
5. Source, catalog, and update technical information in the central system for easy future access.
6. Ensure correct documentation is submitted to the warehouse for parts used during work.
Candidate Requirements:
* Excellent telephone manner and ability to build rapport with a wide range of customers.
* Ability to work calmly under pressure and handle frustrating situations empathetically.
* Competent IT skills, including Word and Excel; ability to type quickly while speaking on the phone.
* Knowledge of CAD systems and HTML is advantageous.
* Ability to understand and retain product information.
