Storeman/woman ( 2x part time)

At Foodari, it's our team that make us different. That's why we are looking for warm, positive, committed individuals to come and join us on our busy goods- in days to help us unload lorries and replenish our fresh produce and chilled goods for a broad range of customers.
As a Storeman/woman in our busy warehouse, you'll be responsible for upholding the highest standards for produce that's distributed to everyone from Michelin star restaurants and prestigious institutions, to your local primary school.
We offer 2x part-time roles, 3x days per week.
Shift 1 - offering Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8am -6pm
And shift 2 - offering Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays 8am- 6pm (term-time only).
Key Responsibilities
· Stock Replenishment
· Goods in checking
· Moving stock within the Warehouse
· Unloading lorries and vans
· Other general warehouse duties
We operate a small but busy warehouse with fast moving lines to keep the produce as fresh as possible. Many of our lines are cut in the farmers fields, collected by our drivers, put into stock and then picked that same day. This means our produce goes from field to plate in less than 24hrs. Reliability is key.
The Person
* Warehouse experience as a storeman/woman -preferred but training can be provided
* Forklift license – Preferred but not essential
* Positive, enthusiastic "can do" attitude
* Physically Fit - This role includes heavy lifting and manual handling.
* Good time management and ability to work independently.
* Good eye for detail
* A great team player and good communicator
