About the Role
As an Operational Excellence Facilitator, you will be instrumental in embedding lean methodologies, enabling data-driven decision-making, and championing best practices across our site. Your role will involve:
* Coaching and supporting teams at all levels to achieve measurable improvements and align with our operational strategy.
* Utilizing recognized tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, SMED, Standard Work, and Root Cause Analysis to drive sustainable change.
Key Responsibilities
* Facilitate and coach Operational Excellence activities to optimize value creation.
* Analyze data to evaluate performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
* Lead problem-solving activities in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment.
* Drive the delivery of improvement projects focused on waste reduction and performance enhancement.
* Influence and support teams through coaching, facilitation, and practical guidance.
* Deploy lean tools and methodologies, including SMED, 5S, RCA, and Standard Work.
* Support the Performance Management System and model best-in-class operational behaviors.
* Promote ownership of OE initiatives and foster cross-functional collaboration.
* Provide on-the-job training to colleagues as needed.
* Champion health and safety standards to ensure safe working practices.
* Support the development and delivery of long-term Operational Excellence roadmaps.
What We're Looking For
* Six Sigma Green Belt qualification (minimum).
* Strong practical experience in delivering Operational Excellence or Lean initiatives.
* Proven capability using lean tools within an FMCG environment.
* Deep understanding of OEE and its impact on site performance.
* Experience leading and coaching teams through Root Cause Analysis.
* Demonstrable change management capability.
* Ability to influence, engage, and coach teams at all levels.
* A data-driven, analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
