The Opportunity
Are you looking for a truly flexible role where you can make a difference? We're seeking a General Assistant to ensure all facilities services at our property are provided effectively and efficiently. You'll also be the initial point of contact for key stakeholders and external multi-agencies.
What You'll Do:
1. Keep Things Running: Make sure cleaning, maintenance, security, and catering 3 services a day are all working well and meet targets.
2. Look After Public Areas: Ensure all shared spaces are clean, tidy, and in good condition.
3. Stay Safe: Do regular fire and security checks, fix any problems quickly, and keep records.
4. Comply with Health & Safety: Carry out safety checks and make sure the site follows all rules and guidelines.
5. Stay Alert: Keep security tight and know what to do in an emergency.
6. Manage Site Access: Check people in and out of the site, making sure records are accurate and up to date.

Ideal Candidate
23. Accurate, diligent, self-motivated, focused, and reliable.
24. Previous experience in H&S and security would be desirable
25. A collaborative working spirit that enhances and builds effective working relationships both internally and externally.
26. Possess a communication style that allows positive and open dialogue with users and multi-agencies.
27. An ability to anticipate expectations and resolve issues.
28. The ability to remain calm when in pressurised situations
