Driver Awards and Recognition What will you be doing as a Class 2Driver? Driving a Class 2 Vehicle in a safe manner, complying with all road traffic, and vehicle legislation Multidrop deliveries to high street stores and trading estates. Many deliveries mechanical off load and some stores assist with deliveries. Vehicles fitted with equipment to offload items. Collecting returns from customers’ properties Completion of tachographs in line with legislation and company policies Performing vehicle checks at the beginning and end of each journey and reporting all defects Ensuring the vehicle and stock are properly always secured Always providing a first-class customer service experience Relevant skills and experience as a Class 2 Driver: This is a physically demanding role including lifting and shifting – essential that you are physically able to lift items Valid LGV, HGV Class 2 License Valid Digital Tachograph card Full Driver Qualification card (Driver CPC) A general understanding of driver's hours legislation and working time directive No more than 6 points on driving license
