A growing, client-focused financial planning firm based in Heaton Moor is seeking a Trainee Paraplanner / Wealth Planning Analyst to join their friendly, small but ambitious team. About You
You are:
* An administrator or trainee paraplanner looking to progress into a fully qualified paraplanning role
* Excited to be part of a small, planning-led team rather than a large corporate firm
* Passionate about financial planning and the positive impact it has on clients’ lives
* Interested in the human side of advice as much as the technical side
* Capable of managing a varied workload, using your initiative, and prioritising tasks effectively
* Adaptable and open to change, including the evolving role of technology and AI in financial planning
You will have:
* At least 3 years’ administration experience within a financial planning-led advice firm
* Passed at least 3 RO exams and are working towards your Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Experience processing pensions, ISAs, general accounts, and onshore/offshore bonds, ideally via Nucleus or Transact
* Ideally, worked closely with an adviser delivering genuine financial planning services
* A willingness to learn, develop, and take on new challenges
The Role
You will:
* Provide first-class administrative and paraplanning support to an adviser within a newly created pod
* Receive structured training in all aspects of paraplanning, with a clear development pathway from day one
* After 9–12 months (subject to performance and exam progression), progress into a full paraplanner role
* Process new business applications via Nucleus or Transact and support the onboarding of new clients
* Assist with simple suitability reports using firm templates and learn to use Voyant financial planning software
* Liaise with clients where required to support exceptional financial planning services
* Contribute to ad hoc projects, including trialling and implementing new technology
