We are currently seeking a Medical & Commercial Business Development Manager to join our team on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities
* Manage all commercial and medical sales operations for Applus+ 3C Test, ensuring a professional approach to customer interactions.
* Engage with customers to understand their requirements and develop test plans or programs accordingly.
* Support quotation processes with the inside sales team based on customer needs.
* Negotiate terms of payment, invoicing, and credit limits; liaise with the accounts department to establish and maintain customer accounts.
* Utilize market techniques to identify and target potential customers; maintain a database of prospects and current clients for ongoing engagement.
* Monitor competitor activities to maintain visibility and positioning as a preferred testing provider.
* Stay informed about Applus+ 3C Test’s accreditation status and technical capabilities to leverage in marketing activities.
Requirements
* Recognized qualification in business studies or marketing.
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a sales environment, preferably within the medical or commercial sectors.
* Deep knowledge of the commercial/medical markets, especially EMC, Environmental, and Safety sectors.
* Basic project management skills, including preparing project schedules and quotations; understanding customer accounting processes such as credit limits and invoicing.
* Proficiency in IT tools such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional telephone manner and fluency in English.
