The role is suited for an experienced Senior Legal Counsel looking to step into a General Counsel position. It is a fully office-based role at Heathrow Airport (5 days a week).

Duties & Responsibilities
* Provide accurate and timely legal counsel to executives on various topics (commercial agreements, dispute resolution, corporate finance, and commercial law).
* Manage complex legal transactions ensuring input from all stakeholders and specialists.
* Lead risk management strategies within the company.
* Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
* Handle Company Secretarial duties.
* Draft and finalize agreements, contracts, and legal documents.
* Manage external counsel and consultants to ensure value for money.
* Clarify legal language and specifications within the company.
* Stay updated on legislative changes and developments.
Skills & Experience
* Qualified UK solicitor with at least 10 years PQE (considering other PQE levels and qualified lawyers from other common law jurisdictions eligible for QLT).
* Strong knowledge of corporate law, especially corporate finance, dispute resolution, and contracts.
* Methodical, detail-oriented approach.
* Commercially minded with a pragmatic legal approach.
* Experience from reputable law firms or businesses.
* Proven legal counsel experience in fast-paced environments.
* High professional ethics and integrity.
* Good judgment and analytical skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Approximately 8 years of experience in a small to medium law firm prior to transitioning to business.
