Keeler Recruitment are working exclusively with a growing organisation in the Norfolk area seeking an experienced Interim Head of Finance to lead and transform their finance function. This is a key assignment offering challenge, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
This is a 12-month contract to support the organisation through a time of transition, including the implementation of a new cloud-based finance system. There is potential for the role to evolve into a longer-term or permanent position, although this is not guaranteed at this stage.
Key Responsibilities:
Overhaul and lead the finance function, currently operating with limited resource and heavily manual processes.
Manage the end-to-end system migration, including systems workflow, reporting, and staff training.
Provide hands-on financial leadership including month-end close, WIP management, intercompany reconciliations, recharges, and audit preparation.
Review and improve internal controls and financial processes across a newly expanded group of four entities.
Business partner with senior leadership, to support strategic decision-making.
Supervise and support a part-time AAT-level bookkeeper, while assessing longer-term resourcing needs.
Ideal Candidate:
A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/FCA) with strong technical and operational finance experience.
Proven track record in systems implementation and transformation projects.
Comfortable in hands-on roles with minimal existing infrastructure.
Strong working knowledge of WIP, project costing, and intercompany accounting.
Confident, adaptable, and able to work effectively with stakeholders across varying levels.
