Web Data Analyst Role
We are seeking an experienced Web Data Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our digital performance team, you will be responsible for managing and delivering own website tracking, reporting and optimisation efforts.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in data analysis and web analytics, with experience in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM). They will be able to communicate technical analytics principles, strategies & results to leadership and other stakeholders.
This role involves:
* Managing GA4 and GTM setups – implementing, QAing, and maintaining robust tracking across all digital touchpoints.
* Monitoring user journeys and site performance – tracking how users interact with key pages and features, identifying drop-offs and opportunities.
* Building and maintaining performance dashboards – using GA4, Looker Studio or Power BI to visualise KPIs and campaign results for wider teams.
* Running deep-dive analysis – translating raw data into actionable insights to improve conversion rates and customer experience.
* Leading A/B and multivariate testing – designing, executing, and reporting on tests to optimise UX and site functionality.
* Delivering a clear CRO strategy – identifying conversion blockers, prioritising opportunities, and working cross-functionally to implement and test improvements.
You will work closely with digital, UX, IT and marketing teams to ensure alignment on tracking, performance goals and improvement priorities.
This role requires:
* Strong experience with GA4 and GTM – from setup and troubleshooting to custom events and advanced configurations.
* Experience with CRO tools – e.g. Yieldify or similar platforms.
* Good understanding of UX and conversion funnels – able to spot opportunities and suggest practical improvements.
* Confident with dashboarding tools – such as Looker Studio or Power BI for performance tracking.
* Excellent communication skills – comfortable explaining data and insights to stakeholders at all levels.
