Role Overview
Winnersh Care Home: Abbeyfield Winnersh is a dementia‑friendly residential care home situated in the village of Winnersh, Wokingham.
Location: Winnersh Care Home, Woodward Cl, Winnersh, Wokingham RG41 5NW
Hours: 33 hours a week and alternative weekends.
Shift Pattern: 8am – 8pm, 3 x day shifts.
Pay: £12.96–£13.31 per hour.
Responsibilities
* At the front line of care delivery, helping residents with individual care needs such as personal care, medical care and social activities.
* Building a special bond with each resident and providing professional and emotional support during difficult times, such as periods of illness.
* Assisting residents with washing, dressing, eating, drinking and mobility.
* Respecting residents’ choices, dignity and independence.
* Contributing to the development of resident Care Plans and noting any specialist support needs.
