One of my local government clients are currently recruiting an experienced Tenant Liasion Officer (Housing) on a temporary basis. This is a 3-month minimum contract with the possibility of the role being extended further to work Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm.
Hybrid working role were, however, you will be required to attend the office 2/3 times a week.
Overview:
* To develop, lead and co-ordinate actions required for the Council in order to service and maintain it’s housing assets by way of positive promotion of major works programmes.
* Provide impartial and confidential advice to tenants, and visit properties to develop networks and partnerships between tenants and contractors, to ensure that all Capital Works programmes are delivered successfully.
* To identify any tenant vulnerabilities and safeguarding cases and escalate those to the relevant team or department so that the relevant support can be identified.

* An understanding and awareness of the concept of “Making Every Contact Count” (MECC), attending training where necessary.
* To make full use of technology available to improve communications and services.

* To be proactive in identifying opportunities for improvements in service delivery.
