Overview
South Bedfordshire Community Health Services are looking for a full-time band 6 Occupational Therapist to be part of the Community Occupational Therapy service within the Primary Care Home Team. We operate a 7-day service from 8:00 to 21:00.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with the therapy team (Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Assistant Practitioners and Rehabilitation Support Workers) and a wider multidisciplinary workforce across Bedfordshire to provide holistic care.
* Build links with professionals and services required to wrap around individuals to meet their needs.
* Be innovative, forward thinking, self-driven with excellent communication and interpersonal skills; take pride in your work; be highly motivated, dynamic and flexible to embrace change.
* Collaborate with diverse stakeholders and network to support service users.
Qualifications and Experience
* Degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration.
* Leadership experience with team management skills.
* Must be able to travel across the county of Bedfordshire.
