Job overview Join our expanding Respiratory Investigations team at an exciting time of service growth as we prepare for the opening of the new Peterborough Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC) in October 2026. We are looking for an enthusiastic Respiratory Physiologist to support the delivery of high-quality respiratory diagnostics across Peterborough City Hospital, Hinchingbrooke Hospital and the new CDC. You will work alongside experienced ARTP and AHCS accredited staff performing and reporting a range of respiratory investigations within a supportive and forward-thinking team. In 2024 our team delivered over 14,000 respiratory diagnostic tests across the Trust, with further expansion planned as part of the CDC development programme. This role would suit either an experienced Respiratory Physiologist ready for a Band 6 opportunity, or a developing candidate with the right values, aptitude and commitment to progress through an Annex 21 development route. Applicants who do not yet meet all Band 6 criteria may still be considered under Annex 21 NHS Terms and Conditions arrangements, with structured support and competency development towards substantive Band 6 progression. Work collaboratively with physiologists, clinicians and the wider MDT. Participate in service development, audit and quality improvement activity. Support learners and staff in training where appropriate. Maintain continuing professional development and competency progression.
