This role is perfect for someonewhosloves travelling across UK and is skilled in turbine maintenance and troubleshooting and is eager to share knowledge, resolve issues, and support the team in getting these turbines up to our high operational standards.Become a Multi-Skilled Authorised Technician under the EDFR Wind Turbine Safety Rules working on one or more Wind Turbine Variants.Opportunity to become a High Voltage Single Feed Senior Authorised Person under EDFR E&M Safety Rules.Undertake Major Component (Gearbox, Generator, Transformer etc) Replacements.Complex fault finding and repair on Electrical, Hydraulic and Convertor Systems both remotely and at the Wind Turbine.Complete Scheduled Maintenance to high standards and take pride of the assets that you maintain.Complete internal & external technical and safety training to develop your skills.Typically work in a two-person working party within a supportive team environment.Whats in it for You?Career growth in the booming renewable sector.Training & development to keep you at the top of your game.An opportunity to travel and work at other sites in some fantastic locations.Who are you?Physically fit, safety-focused, and love hands-on work.Capable of working at height (within and outside the turbine) and in exposed and remote locations.Enthusiastic about green energy.What skills do you need?Youll be a skilled engineer with great electrical maintenance experience, having worked on three phase systems or heavy plant electrical.Previous experience on wind farms is beneficial, but not essential. We can train you to multi-skill.Location: Goole Service Centre - Goole, East Yorkshire, DN14 6XLFor this role, you will generally be located within 45 minutes of the site and have a full UK drivers licence.
