Head Chef Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Head Chef at The Antrobus Arms in Northwich. The Head Chef will oversee the operation of the kitchen, including menu development, preparing high-quality dishes, and training and managing the kitchen team.
Responsibilities include ensuring food safety and hygiene standards, maintaining inventory and food cost controls, and collaborating with the team to curate seasonal or promotional menus.
Delivering exceptional dining experiences is central to this role.
Head Chef Qualifications
Strong culinary skills including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
Experience in team management such as leadership, staff training, and effective communication.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and adherence to hygiene standards.
Proficiency in kitchen inventory management, cost control, and supplier coordination.
Creativity and innovation in developing dynamic and seasonal menu offerings.
A passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction.
Relevant culinary certifications or experience in a similar head chef or senior chef role.
