Are you passionate about supporting children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? A small, welcoming primary school in Litherland is seeking a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their Special Educational Needs (SEN) unit.
About the Role
* Work closely with pupils who have SEMH needs, providing tailored support to help them thrive in a nurturing environment.
* Assist the class teacher and SEN team in delivering individualised learning plans.
* Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation strategies.
* Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils to support their academic and personal development.

* Experience working with children with SEMH or other additional needs (school-based or similar setting).
* A calm, patient, and resilient approach.
* Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, SENCO, and external professionals.
* A genuine passion for making a difference in children’s lives.
