Learn more about what sets us apart .**About The Role**Knight Frank is seeking a Financial Crime Compliance and Investigations Officer to join our Head Office in Baker Street.Knight Frank have established a financial crime compliance (FCC) team in the UK who complete due diligence on all types of entities including, but not restricted to landlords, tenants, sellers, buyers who can be individuals, UK companies, Overseas Companies, Trusts, Funds, Limited Partnerships.You will play a critical role in supporting the MLRO and DMLRO in executing their regulatory roles. You will be a highly motivated, pro-active, and collaborative individual. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment which is target driven. Someone who is a safe pair of hands with outstanding craftsmanship to establish Design best practice in the organisation.Our customers, clients and advisors need to be supported by the very best compliance professionals, and this could be you.**Key Responsibilities:**We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Crime Compliance and Investigations Officer to join our Financial Crime Compliance team. This role is pivotal in ensuring robust client due diligence (CDD) and anti-money laundering (AML) processes for a diverse portfolio of corporate entities, limited partnerships, and investment funds. The successful candidate will also act as a business partner, working closely with front office, legal, compliance, and operations teams to support strategic onboarding and ongoing monitoring initiatives.**Investigations & Reporting:*** Receive, assess, and investigate internal SARs, producing high-quality reports for stakeholders and regulatory bodies.**Due Diligence:*** Conduct Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), including KYC, anti-bribery/corruption checks.**Risk Management:*** Perform firm-wide risk assessments to identify, manage, and mitigate financial crime risks, including sanctions violations.**Monitoring & Controls:*** Monitor transaction activity for red flags (e.g., rapid fund movements) and enhance existing controls.**Advisory:*** Provide guidance to the business on compliance regulations, ensuring adherence to anti-money laundering (AML) laws.* Communicate in writing with internal stakeholders as well as external clients.* Maintain up to date knowledge of relevant Client Due Diligence and Anti-Money laundering regulations.* Collaboratively work with the UK/India team to deliver exceptional service to the business.* Provide Client Due Diligence and Anti-Money laundering training support to new joiners.**Skills and Experience Required:*** Degree qualification; or minimum of 24 - 36 months experience in a reputable company providing dedicated CDD and AML.* Experience using Third Party Client Due Diligence and Anti Money laundering screening tools.* Analytical Skills: Strong ability to investigate complex data sets, understand patterns, and draw evidence-based conclusions.* Knowledge: Understanding of AML regulations, financial crime red flags, and KYC requirements.* Reporting: Proven ability to produce thorough, written investigative reports.* Communicate effectively – both written and oral* Excellent attention to detail.* They will be very well presented, have a clear, confident speaking voice.* Good time management and planning skills.* Demonstrate a positive “hands on” attitude.Competitive salaryPlease note: this is a Direct Search led by Knight Frank.
