The Role
As a manufacturing IT consultant, you will support a leading automotive customer as part of the BAU IT or Project team. You will work on manufacturing applications like manufacturing execution systems and configure/deploy shop floor devices such as scanners.
Key responsibilities:
* Development and configuration of .NET based applications
* Support and investigation of issues reported at line side
* Configuration and troubleshooting of shop floor devices
* Supporting end users at line side when issues are reported
* Participating in team discussions for service improvements
Skills/knowledge/experience:
* Support and configuration of barcode printers and smart devices like tablets
* Knowledge of the manufacturing domain
* Good verbal & written communication skills in English
* Team skills (cross-functional & cross-cultural)
* Creativity and openness to innovate
* Good interpersonal skills
* Proactive and self-driven attitude
