Studio Assistant - £31,600 A wonderful opportunity to join this Award-winning Architecture Practice as their Studio Assistant in Farringdon. This is a Monday to Friday office-based position. 08:30 - 5:30 (40 hours per week) The successful Studio Assistant will need to demonstrate some excellent customer facing skills and experience. Working closely with the PAs, team coordinators, front of house manager, facilities and technical staff you will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills; have a keen eye for detail, a flexible and pro-active attitude and be able to prioritise effectively with minimal supervision. Studio Assistant responsibilities are varied and include reception and administrative duties including: * Providing administration support, as directed by line manager and others in the admin team * Covering reception duties at lunchtime and morning/afternoon breaks * Operating the switchboard, meeting, and greeting visitors * Sorting/franking/distributing post and sorting deliveries * Booking meeting rooms and keeping the hospitality assistant up to date with meeting bookings * Organising couriers/passenger cars * Organising and running new staff inductions in basic studio processes * Managing and updating the main client database * Assisting the marketing team on client updates ahead of large events * Assisting with in-house and external staff events * Organising celebration/leaving cards and collections and gifts as instructed * Assisting Team Coordinators with frequent travel bookings, including collecting train tickets * Issuing invoices/credit notes to clients to support the Senior Team Coordinator and the team * Assisting with cover of Team Coordinator workloads in times of annual leave/unexpected absence * Maintaining and keep up-to-date the record and details of projects to be photographed * Collecting filing from all Team Coordinators and sort according to the company procedures * Filing digital/paper documents into the relevant files * Assist with digital/hard copy archiving within the studio * Assist with organising team events * Taking a proactive and managerial approach to maintaining a tidy environment, ensuring empty desks and communal areas and surfaces are kept clear * Watering plants A wonderful opportunity to use your customer facing experience and develop within this friendly and inclusive team Immediate start available Studio Assistant Benefits include: Robust Learning & Development programs and opportunities to advance your skills and career.
