Role: Engineering Design Lead (Power Station Integration)

We are recruiting for the role of Power Station Integration Lead to be involved in an industry-leading, cutting-edge design project for a new type of power station.
The Power Station Integration Lead will lead a small team to integrate functional design and undertake design optioneering to define the design of the RR SMR power station as part of the Power Station Integration team.
The Power Station Integration Lead will deliver integrated power station capabilities using systems engineering methods, collaborating with subject matter experts and discipline design teams across the power station to ensure top-level requirements are met and an effective product is delivered.
Responsibilities and Achievements:
* Deliver the design of Power Station Capabilities and manage their performance and attributes, such as net power output, availability, and product cost.
* Own the delivery of capabilities, driving decision-making and design development in line with the programme while coordinating with other disciplines.
* Ensure requirements flow to lower-tier systems enables the overarching power station objectives to be met.
* Elicit capability requirements.
* Integrate capabilities across multi-disciplinary design teams to develop the design of the capability.
* Deliver the capability within the Power Station Architecture Model.
Use optioneering and systems engineering techniques to deliver Power Station design solutions that meet product requirements.
