Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Aldermaston for a Junior Solar Designer / Junior Solar Design Engineer. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Solar Designer to complement our
sales team and to assist in the design and verification of residential & commercial rooftop
solar PV systems. You will work closely with external project teams, senior engineers and
internal operational support to develop accurate and efficient solar designs that meet customer
needs and regulatory requirements, predominantly using our popular in-house simulation &
structural verification software K2 Base.
Must have Qualifications
Education:
* • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable
* Energy, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience:
* • 0–2 years of experience in solar design or similar field
* • Internship or academic project experience in solar PV is preferred
Technical Skills:
* • Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical Solar PV components
* • Microsoft Office proficiency
* • Familiarity with CAD and solar modelling tools (Aurora, Helioscope, PVsyst).
* • Previous experience of CRM systems
