Buyer Opportunity
My client is a well-established and high-performing residential developer known for delivering quality new-build homes across the UK. As a Senior Buyer, you will play a pivotal role within a fast-paced commercial team, taking ownership of key procurement activities across multiple sites and ensuring best-value sourcing while maintaining excellent supplier and site relationships.
As a Buyer, you will take responsibility for:
* Proven experience as a Buyer within the housebuilding or wider construction sector
* Strong commercial awareness and confident negotiation skills
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and prepare accurate take-offs
* Proficient user of Microsoft Excel for budgeting and scheduling tasks
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
* Excellent communication skills and the confidence to liaise with internal teams and suppliers
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to visit sites when required
Buyer Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Buyer within the housebuilding or wider construction sector
