The 21 Group are currently seeking an experienced Part-Qualified Accountant to join a busy office in Perth. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the day-to-day financial operations of a respected building services company.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
Assisting with the financial oversight of the business, contributing to effective planning and management.
Preparing management accounts, including journal entries, accruals, and prepayments.
Collaborating with the Financial Controller to build budgets, forecast income, and manage cashflow.
Keeping a forward-focused perspective on all financial activity.
Supporting annual audits and ensuring compliance with statutory reporting, VAT, CIS, and other regulatory requirements.
Coordinating with external financial advisors as needed.
Supervising core finance functions, including payroll, credit control, invoicing, and supplier payments.
Essential/Desirable Skills and Attributes
Strong background in management accounting with the ability to handle a varied workload.
A proactive, hands-on approach and keen attention to detail.
Solid IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
Confident communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the business.
Highly organised, self-motivated, and committed to meeting deadlines.
