Senior Associate Masterplanner

Candidates will be able to show:
A minimum of 8-10 years of masterplanning experience in a relevant field.
* Ability to work at various scales from high level masterplans through to small scale interventions and contribute to the design of places from concept through to planning.
* Strong research capability and ability to collate key information about a site/ project, including political, environmental, social, economic and spatial considerations.
* High graphical, verbal and written skills to communicate urban design concepts and technical inputs.
What does the role involve?
As a Senior Associate Masterplanner, you will provide design inputs into high profile projects ranging from large scale urban extensions / new towns to urban regeneration schemes.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional design skills, the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders, lead projects and a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in masterplanning and urban design.
You must have strong design and narrative building skills, that can clearly articulate how a project has been developed through text and drawn information.
What are the key responsibilities for the role?
Lead and manage projects and coordinating team members.
* Preparation of high-quality planning documents, including visions, design and access statements, design codes, feasibility studies and associated drawings.
* Work with the wider planning team to make sure relevant policy and guidance is followed.
* Attending site visits and client meetings.
* Communicating with clients, design team and stakeholders, as appropriate.
* As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will play an active part in client presentations, explaining urban design concepts and technical inputs.
* Provide a positive contribution to wider elements of running the practice, including helping to prepare marketing collateral, presentation images, social media posts and website updates.
