Synechron is looking for an experienced Scrum Master/ Project Manager with a passion for delivering complex programs within the investment banking domain. We are seeking a skilled PM to lead end-to-end delivery of high-impact projects, ensuring they meet strategic business goals, regulatory standards, and stakeholder expectations. The role is based from our BELFAST office (Paper Exchange), and requires x3 days a week in the office.
Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the full lifecycle of complex programs and projects, ensuring seamless delivery aligned with business objectives and compliance requirements
* Act as Scrum Master for agile teams, facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and removing obstacles to optimize team performance
* Serve as the key liaison between technology teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear, timely, and transparent communication throughout project execution
* Oversee project timelines, resource allocation, budgets, and risk management, providing accurate and ongoing status updates to senior management and clients
* Promote a culture of continuous improvement by implementing Agile best practices, fostering team accountability, and encouraging iterative feedback
* Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams—including developers, QA, product owners, and compliance—to ensure successful project delivery
* Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including dashboards, progress reports, and issue logs, for both internal teams and external stakeholders
* Build and nurture strong client relationships, ensuring stakeholder expectations are managed and project goals are consistently achieved
* Coordinate across global teams, manage dependencies, and escalate issues as necessary to ensure smooth execution across geographies
Experience:
* Proven experience managing end-to-end delivery of complex projects within the investment banking or financial services sector
* Strong expertise in Agile methodologies, with experience acting as a Scrum Master
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical details into business language
* Demonstrated ability to manage project scope, timelines, resources, and risks effectively
* Experience coordinating with global teams across multiple geographies
* A proactive problem-solver with strong leadership, team facilitation, and organizational skills
