Job Overview
The Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team (CRHTT) will provide a specialist service offering comprehensive assessment, treatment and care of service users who are experiencing severe mental health difficulties within both the community and district general hospital setting within Gwent. The service will also facilitate the early discharge of those admitted to Mental Health inpatient units, through intensive but time‑limited intervention in the community. The CRHTT service is currently undergoing a process of change whereby options to support the crisis assessments alongside the 111‑2 service. As a result there may be changes to your work pattern and work base inline with service redevelopment.
Main duties of the job
* Be a team player while working autonomously under challenging conditions.
* Make positive risk management decisions for service users in acute mental health crisis.
* Plan and provide care in innovative ways, supporting colleagues both within the team and externally.
* Work shifts (including night shifts at St Cadoc’s site) and weekends, with a 12‑hour working pattern (night work) as required.
* Provide flexible working to meet the needs of the service.
* The service operates 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
