Overview
Registered Night Nurse | Location: Downley, High Wycombe | Pay rate: £24.42 per hour | Contracted hours: 24 hours per week
Responsibilities
* Be the most senior person on site during night shifts and take charge in the event of emergencies, while maintaining wakeful watch on the security and safety of residents and the home.
* Lead a team of carers with lead clinical responsibility, providing advice and guidance to ensure high standards of nursing and personal care are met.
* Deliver, monitor, and re-evaluate care needs in partnership with residents, their key carers, family members, and the wider team at the home.
* Liaise effectively with GPs, hospitals, and external agencies.
* Contribute to a rewarding environment with a wide range of clinical experiences and opportunities to develop skills and knowledge.
* Offer flexibility by providing casual hours if preferred to support work-life balance; specify availability when applying.
About the Home
The Heights care home was designed to enable effective delivery of specialist nursing care, with a practical nursing unit on each wing. The home provides a bright, safe and modern living environment with 75 individual rooms. In addition to on-site facilities, there is ample communal and outdoor space with varied activities available. Location: High Wycombe Care Home.

About You
* Qualified Registered General Nurse or Registered Mental Health Nurse, currently registered with NMC
* Post-registration experience with evidence of continuing professional development
* Comfortable taking charge and understanding regulatory frameworks
* Willing to train in or have experience with: medication administration, catheterisation, end of life care, verification of death, syringe drivers, gastrostomy care, venepuncture, diabetic awareness, tissue viability, epilepsy awareness, and management of deterioration (sepsis awareness)
* Positive role model with excellent communication and leadership to motivate the team
