Responsibilities
* Maintain the existing CI/CD pipeline (Octopus Deploy, TeamCity, git/TFS, PowerShell)
* Assess and build new monitoring capability across on-premises & cloud hosted environments
* Design and implement new automation solutions using existing DevOps tools
* Manage the design and implementation of new pipelines
* Assist in Managing Projects through to completion with the Devops Manager/Supervisor
* Support implementation of our next generation product stack (Microservices, Terraform, EKS, Consul, Vault)
* Work with Cloud Engineers to develop AWS Solutions
* 2nd level support for Devops Activities
Qualifications
* IT degree, or equivalent experience
* 5+ years experience working in a DevOps role
* Solid understanding of DevOps practices and methods
* Working knowledge of SDLC principles and methodologies
* Previous Software Engineer & IT Operations role's with significant scripting/coding experience
* Understanding of hosting production environments on AWS
* Advanced knowledge of Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery build pipelines
* Experience working with microservices, containerisation (docker) and infrastructure as code
* A passion for automating manual processes
* Keen to continuously improve & innovate
