About this Role
We are looking for a versatile and outgoing individual to join the team as a Weekend Duty Manager/Caretaker, working on a permanent basis, to support our community hire and lettings activities. The hours will be 16 per weekend across Saturday and Sunday with shifts between the hours of 7am to 10pm dependent on bookings. Occasional weekday evenings may also be offered.
The ideal candidate will possess infectious enthusiasm, be reliable and highly organised, able to multi‑task, with a professional and friendly disposition. They should be resilient, driven, determined and ambitious.

Job Description
* Meet and greet customers and facilitate the smooth running of external hires
* Clear and set up rooms
* Set up party equipment including large bouncy castles
* Close and secure the Academy, including activation and deactivation of alarms
* Assist with ensuring the security of the site
* Be the initial point of contact for enquiries in person and via email
* Maintain a tidy and orderly work area across the site, including the pool area
* Be responsible for all bookings during your working shift, ensuring the Academy is set correctly and kept tidy
* Supervise and support other team members on shift when required
* Work in the bar/coffee shop when required
* Carry out responsibilities with due regard to the Academy's policy, organisation and arrangements for Health & Safety at work
* Any other appropriate duties and responsibilities relevant to the post as directed by the Chief Executive Officer, Deputy CEO or LFE Manager

Background – Landau Forte Academy QEMS & Tamworth Sixth Form
Landau Forte Academy QEMS joined the Landau Forte Charitable Trust in September 2011 and delivers education to 11‑16 year olds. Landau Forte Academy Sixth Form is a purpose‑built establishment providing Level 3 courses, both Advanced Level and BTEC, for the whole of Tamworth and beyond. The academies are located on a shared campus, but both operate from their own facilities, with Landau Forte Academy Sixth Form having new bespoke accommodation, which opened in September 2011, with a new Sports Hall that opened in 2013.

We are a rapidly improving 11‑16 academy under new leadership, with a Progress 8 score which improved dramatically from 2015. Tamworth boasts a range of historical sites and leisure attractions, including Tamworth Castle; the Tamworth SnowDome and Drayton Manor Amusement Park. Within a 20 minute drive from the town, you can find yourself in the beautiful, open Staffordshire countryside or Birmingham's bustling city centre.
