Job Description
Provide professional social work services to children, families, individuals, and groups within the current legislation, policies, and procedures of Aberdeenshire Council. This involves working in partnership with service users, other professionals, and agencies within the wider community.
There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the service and the organization.

Requirements
* This post involves regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo an update check.
* If you have spent a continuous period of 3 months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required.
* Provision of satisfactory pre-employment checks is mandatory for employment commencement.
* The post requires a minimum of 2 references, including one from your current or most recent employer.
