We have a great opportunity for a Sales Consultant to join our team within Vistry Merseyside & Cheshire West region, based at one of our developments in Warrington/Merseyside area. The role involves carrying out all aspects of daily sales and marketing, including owning the sales process from reservation to legal completion, ensuring excellent customer service and meeting targets and KPIs.
We value in-person collaboration but support flexible working and are open to accommodation requests. This role will involve weekend working.

Requirements

- Experience generating leads and sales via telephone‑based business development
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and exceptional sales performance

- Strong negotiation and sales skills
- Ability to handle complaints and difficult situations
- Proven track record of successfully completing the sales process with customers

Responsibilities
- Proactively seek out prospective sales and follow up enquiries with telephone communication and marketing literature
- Deliver informative and clear site and house plot tours to customers
- Negotiate with customers to secure the best sales outcome for the business
- Utilise technology to generate sales and innovate under varying environmental and economic conditions
- Manage sales visits effectively, arranging pre‑booked appointments at suitable times
- Travel to all sites as required for operational needs
- Maintain detailed knowledge of Bovis Homes, Linden Homes, and Countryside Homes, including development plots and available options
- Follow the sales process as set out in training and procedure guides for every customer
- Work as part of the sales team and demonstrate effective teamwork with other departments
- Evaluate each sales process to improve effectiveness, efficiency and profitability
- Sell all types of customer extras across reservations to drive additional profit
- Record all customer interactions on the relevant IT system in line with GDPR
- Deal with customers politely, friendly and efficiently
- Keep customers fully and regularly informed of the progress of their purchase
- Respond to cancellations, attempting to ‘save’ and if necessary renegotiate reservations, and offer suitable alternatives within other developments
- Use knowledge of purchase assistance schemes, alternative sites and house type options to offer bespoke choices
- Collaborate with the site team to understand build progress and provide accurate customer information
- Advocate the customer journey and consistently exceed expectations
- Deliver high‑quality home demonstrations with build teams for purchased homes
- Takes responsibility for company property and equipment
- Maintain the sales area to the highest standard of presentation
