As a Research Midwife, you'll support the delivery of the clinical trials portfolio, working alongside multidisciplinary teams, principal investigators, and patients. You'll ensure studies are conducted safely, ethically, and in line with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and regulatory standards.
1. Coordinate and manage the day-to-day delivery of clinical trials
2. Recruit and support patients participating in research studies
3. Maintain accurate, high-quality clinical and research documentation
4. Collaborate across departments to ensure efficient and effective study conduct
5. Promote awareness of clinical research within the Trust and the wider community
Requirements:
* Registered Midwife (NMC) with a passion for advancing care through research
* Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
* Strong commitment to patient safety and high standards of clinical care
* Previous research experience is desirable but not essential - full training and mentorship will be provided
