Maintenance engineer - Aldershot - £45k
Platform Recruitment has partnered with a well-established manufacturing business that specialises in precision-engineered components. The company is experiencing consistent growth and is now seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join its dedicated maintenance team. This is a hands-on role ensuring the smooth and safe operation of all plant machinery and mechanical equipment across multiple production sites.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure the operation and reliability of machinery and mechanical equipment through effective preventative maintenance
* Troubleshoot and fault-find mechanical and electrical issues
* Design, fabricate, and repair jigs
* Respond rapidly to production breakdowns
Key Skills
* Experience with ProtoTRAK CNC mill controls and GE Fanuc series Oi CNC lathe controls
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving
* Hands-on experience with both mechanical systems and electrical fault-finding
