We are offering an exciting opportunity for Band 4 Radiotherapy Booking Clerk to join our team in a forward thinking radiotherapy department at Velindre Cancer Centre.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative individual wishing to expand their knowledge and experience at a purpose built Cancer Centre, providing world class cancer care to the people of South East Wales.
Working 10:00-18:00 Monday to Friday
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in the Radiotherapy Department at Velindre Cardiff or in the newly built satellite Radiotherapy department at the Neville Hall hospital site, Abergavenny.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will form part of a team providing a scheduling service for radiotherapy and other services.
The role of the post holder is to schedule patients as required ensuring that the standard/agreed form is complete with all the relevant information before scheduling.
To liaise with patients giving them a choice of available appointments using the Department/Trust’s computerised booking system. The post holder will assist with compiling and analysing waiting list data.
You will be required to help organise various departmental tasks.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

* NVQ3 or equivalent demonstrable experience
* Good general education
* Demonstrate an understanding of medical terminology
