Customer Assistant - Warehouse Operative - Leeds Moortown Simply Food

Join our team at M&S as a Customer Assistant in Operations, where you’ll play a vital role in keeping our store running smoothly behind the scenes. We’re looking for hardworking individuals who take pride in ensuring our products are delivered, organised, and ready for our colleagues and customers.

Working Pattern

Week 1: Monday 04:30 - 15:00, Wednesday 04:30 - 15:00, Friday 04:30 - 14:30, Saturday 04:30 - 14:30

Week 2: Sunday 06:30 - 16:30, Tuesday 04:30 - 15:00, Thursday 04:30 - 15:00, Friday 04:30 - 14:30

All the details relate to delivering, organising and ensuring our shop floor is fully stocked. You’ll use in-store systems and tools to track deliveries, manage stock and ensure products are where they need to be.

Being digitally confident and a team player is essential. You’ll work with colleagues across the store to keep operations moving and support an inclusive environment. Flexibility to work across various operational tasks is important to adapt to changing store needs.

Purpose

To deliver a great shopping experience for our customers, by putting customers before tasks and championing our products. As the face of the business, you will be the voice of our customers helping us continually improve.


Key Accountabilities

* Serve customers efficiently on the shop floor and at service points
* Keep the store clean and tidy, ensuring shelves are stocked
* Monitor and deliver on daily sales targets, priorities, promotions and selling opportunities
* Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs, make recommendations and deliver remarkable service
* Build expert product knowledge to sell and recommend products and services
* Receive training to utilise digital tools and communication channels to deliver for the customer
