About the Role This full-time, permanent position supports a modern Science department with a focus on student-led practical exploration. You will be responsible for preparing equipment and materials for Key Stage 3 through to Key Stage 5 Biology, Chemistry, and Physics lessons. The role requires an individual who is highly organised, safety-conscious, and enjoys working as part of a busy and enthusiastic technical team.

Responsibilities
* Prepare and set up specific laboratory equipment and chemical solutions for daily lessons in a timely manner.
* Maintain a rigorous equipment cleaning and sterilization schedule to ensure the highest standards of lab hygiene.
* Order and track laboratory consumables, managing the departmental budget for chemicals and small apparatus.
* Assist with the recording of practical assessments and ensure all health and safety regulations are strictly followed in the prep rooms.
Requirements
* Previous experience as a technician or experience working within a classroom setting.
* Right to work in the UK and a valid enhanced DBS.
Salary £29,000 – £33,500 per annum.
