The role involves working as part of a team of inspectors to verify products against engineering drawings, technical specifications, and defined quality criteria, in line with international aerospace standards.The successful candidate will support a fast-paced manufacturing environment and play a key role in ensuring product conformity and customer satisfaction throughout various stages of build.Key ResponsibilitiesInspect sub-assemblies and major products across multiple build stagesVerify product conformity against engineering drawings, specifications, and quality criteriaUse a range of measuring equipment to assess complianceWork closely with production teams to identify non-conformancesEnsure inspection activities align with aerospace standards and customer requirementsSupport continuous improvement within the Quality functionMandatory RequirementsAbility to interpret engineering drawings and written specificationsProven experience inspecting products against defined criteria using measuring equipmentStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work effectively with cross-functional teamsPrevious experience in an aerospace manufacturing environmentGood understanding of Quality Assurance within aerospace manufacturingDesirable Experience & SkillsKnowledge of AS9100, AS9102, and CAA Part 21G standardsPrevious quality inspection experience within aerospaceFamiliarity with aerospace manufacturing processesPreferred QualificationsRelevant Engineering and/or Quality qualifications (highly advantageous)Working HoursMonday - Thursday: 07:30 - 16:15Friday: 07:30 - 16:00Every other Friday is a non-working day (9-day fortnight)Compensation & BenefitsGenerous salary sacrifice pension schemeCompetitive company sick pay entitlementAccess to retail discounts via Perks at WorkEmployee Assistance ProgrammeHealth 365 - 24/7 healthcare access via Spectrum LifeCycle to Work SchemeTPBN1_UKTJ
