We are looking for an experienced Credit Risk Analyst to join our team, helping to support the team in delivering credit decisions to new business and renewal business requests.
As a part of the Credit Risk team, you will work in line with our established credit policy and approval guidelines to assess and analyse prospective and renewing customers financial data to make decisions, up to the value of £1m and in line with risk guidelines. In supporting the sales team with credit decisions, you will:
* be used to working in a fast-paced environment, working within set deadlines (sales cut off times).
* have experience of managing queries from sales colleagues or from the wider business in matters relating to credit allocation / credit risk.
* already be used to working within high compliance environments (finance, risk management, utilities etc.)
Experience of the energy industry is highly desirable for this role, and experience of underwriting contracts is essential. Applications without sufficient underwriting experience will not be considered.

Working Pattern
In this role you will be able to work on a hybrid pattern, with Tues-Thurs in the office and Monday and Friday at home. Our standard office hours are 0830 – 1700, Monday to Friday. This role is offered on a 15 month contract initially.
