Automotive MechanicAbout the RoleWe are seeking a skilled and dependable Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure they operate safely and efficiently.Key Responsibilities* Inspect and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in vehicles* Perform maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and tune-ups* Repair or replace defective parts, components, and systems (e.g., brakes, engines, transmissions, suspension)* Conduct vehicle tests to verify repairs and ensure compliance with safety standards* Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify faults and verify performance* Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used* Follow all safety and environmental regulations and company policies* Communicate effectively with customers and team members about vehicle issues and recommended repairsQualifications & Skills* Proven experience as an automotive mechanic or technician* Knowledge of vehicle systems, mechanical and electrical components* Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair equipment* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail* Valid driver’s license* (Optional) Certification such as ASE or equivalent is an assetWork Environment* Full-time position (hours may vary)* Shop environment with exposure to noise, tools, and mechanical equipment* Must be able to lift moderate to heavy objects as requiredBenefits (Optional Section)* Competitive pay based on experience* Health, dental, and retirement benefits* Opportunities for professional growth and trainingJob Type: Full-timePay: £30,075.24-£55,545.87 per yearWork Location: In person
