The Housing Maintenance Unit is looking for an enthusiastic individual for the post of Apprentice Assistant Housing Maintenance Officer at our Goole Depot offices. If you are self-motivated, enthusiastic, keen and willing to learn we encourage you to apply!
The successful candidate will undertake the Level 2 Assistant Housing/Property Management apprenticeship standard as well as any additional training delivered in-house as appropriate. This will be an opportunity for you to develop your skills, knowledge and understanding of the Housing Maintenance Unit.
The role includes the raising of orders and collating of invoices, assisting Housing Maintenance Officers in dealing with contractors and tenants. You must be able to complete under direction, pre-determined documentation and procedures within area of expertise. You must be able to assist under direction across all sections of the unit when workloads require it to include liaising with sub-contractors to issue work and monitor workloads.
The post holder must hold a full driving licence but not necessarily own their own car.
