Job Description:
Our client, the go-to resource for Food & Beverage industry news, is looking to recruit a proactive, money-motivated Account Manager to join their growing business. Working on a hybrid basis with 3 days a week in their central Bath office, this is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate!
Our client has been established for 25 years and publishes Food & Beverage magazines/journals across several publications. They are highly respected in the industry and have recently expanded their portfolio to include events and award shows. Due to growth, they are seeking the right candidate to develop their business across Europe by managing existing clients and exploring new opportunities.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Managing established accounts to meet marketing goals by aligning needs with the company's portfolio of industry B2B magazines and digital platforms
2. Offering a consultative sales approach to understand each client's unique needs
3. Developing new business through outreach and marketing
4. Utilizing contact methods such as email, video communication, social media, and industry events to determine client objectives and pitch the company
5. Generating leads via press releases, magazines, search engines, and exhibitions (both in person and digital)
6. Updating the company's CRM with accurate client information
To be considered, you must have:
1. Experience in a client-facing sales environment
2. Experience working towards targets/KPIs
3. A consultative sales approach with strong rapport-building skills
4. Motivation to earn additional income
5. Professional communication skills adaptable to different clients
Additionally, a fun and sociable personality is desirable. Experience in Media or Advertising sales is a plus but not essential.
The package includes:
* Competitive basic salary plus uncapped commission (expected Year One OTE: £35,000 - £40,000)
