Site Operations Leader
Location: Cramlington
Salary: Circa GBP75,000 per year, plus bonus
Hours: Monday - Thursday, 8am - 4.30pm. Fridays, 8am - 1.30pm.

Bridge Recruitment is helping one of our established clients recruit an experienced Site Operations Leader to join their ever-expanding team.
Responsibilities of the Site Operations Leader:
Our client has a newly built electronic assembly plant in Cramlington, a site that is planned to grow year upon year as the site matures with new product lines are added.
This role will focus on driving continuous improvement & lean manufacturing principles, to achieve zero WIP (Work-in-Progress), zero errors, zero stoppages and ensure world class quality standards, with zero customer returns under warranty.
A central part of this role involves working in close partnership to adopt and integrate leading electronics manufacturing practices and technologies. Your mission will be to help elevate the Cramlington site to a benchmark 'Best in Class' facility.
To achieve this, you will lead the charge in identifying and deploying forward-thinking Industry 4.0 and digital transformation initiatives, eliminating process waste, driving improvements in production lead time, efficiency, process innovation, and overall operational performance.
Requirements of the Site Operations Leader:
· 10+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a production leadership role.
· Strong knowledge of SMT, THT, and PCB assembly processes and equipment.
· Proven experience implementing Lean Manufacturing and Zero WIP practices.
· Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
· Experience with ERP/MES systems and manufacturing KPIs.
· Ability to manage cross-functional teams and complex industrial projects.
· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
· Six Sigma certification or Lean Manufacturing certification.
· Experience in a high-mix, low-to-medium volume electronics manufacturing environment.
· Familiarity with Industry 4.0, automation, and digital manufacturing technologies.
