A well-established and growing business within the window, door and renewable sector is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead its manufacturing function.
This is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing production, logistics, quality control, and continuous improvement across a busy manufacturing facility. The role requires a strong operational mindset, commercial awareness, and proven experience within the fenestration or home improvement manufacturing environment.
The Role
Reporting to senior leadership, the Operations Manager will take full responsibility for the day-to-day performance and long-term efficiency of the manufacturing operation.
Key responsibilities include:

Overseeing production across uPVC and/or aluminium window and door manufacturing
*
Managing production planning to meet installation schedules and customer demand
*
Driving operational efficiency, productivity, and cost control
*
Implementing and monitoring KPIs across output, quality, waste, and labour
*
Leading and developing production managers, supervisors, and shop floor teams
*
Ensuring compliance with health & safety and regulatory standards
*
Managing stock control, procurement coordination, and supplier performance
*
Reducing wastage and improving workflow through lean manufacturing principles
*
Collaborating with sales, installation, and commercial teams to ensure seamless delivery
The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking a strong operational leader with proven experience within window and door manufacturing.
You will have:

Extensive experience in a manufacturing leadership role within the fenestration sector
*
Strong technical understanding of uPVC and/or aluminium fabrication processes
*
Experience managing production teams in a fast-paced environment
*
Demonstrable success improving efficiency, output, and quality standards
*
Knowledge of production software and order processing systems
*
Strong financial and commercial awareness
*
Excellent leadership and people management skills
