We are supporting a fantastic school in Kettering who are looking for a nursery assistant to join their team from April to support them within the nursery time. The school are looking for a nursery assistant who is at least Level 2 qualified. Their Early Years provision is at the heart of their school community, and they are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join their dedicated team. As a Nursery Assistant, you will support the Nursery Teacher and Early Years team in delivering high-quality learning experiences for children aged 3-4 years. You will help create a positive, engaging environment where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to explore and develop. Key Responsibilities Support the planning and delivery of engaging Early Years activities in line with the EYFS framework Assist with the supervision and care of children throughout the school day Promote children's learning through play-based activities Help monitor and record children's progress Support children's personal, social, and emotional development Ensure a safe, clean, and stimulating environment Work collaboratively with colleagues and communicate effectively with parents/carers The Ideal Candidate Will Have: A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare (or equivalent) Experience working with young children in a nursery or school setting A warm, patient, and nurturing approach Good communication and teamwork skills A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures A commitment to supporting inclusion and equality
