Automation Tester - Insurance
We are currently recruiting for an Automation Tester with strong Python experience to join one of our Insurance clients on a 6-month contract.
Hybrid working - Inside IR35
1. Automation engineer required to support multiple projects with the build of automated regression test packs for some of the high risks business processes.
2. Assist with the maintenance of existing automated regression test packs.
3. Create, execute and build upon regression testing packs to maintain integrity and quality of builds.
4. Present proposals by way of high-level solutions to end users and/or stakeholders.
Requirements
5. Experienced in Python and with advanced skills in UI automated test development.
6. Must be familiar with the Behaviour-Driven Development Framework
7. Good understanding of automation frameworks, including understanding of test automation design
8. Strong object-oriented programming background
9. Knowledge of using the PyCharm IDE (Integrated Development Environment)
10. Demonstrate a strong understanding of SDLC process
11. Knowledge on SQL skills in tuning/optimization of SQL and database optimization
12. Intermediate to advanced skills in writing SQL
13. Intermediate to advanced skills in API based automated test development
14. Knowledge or experience of AI Testing tools or practices would be desirable but not essential.
