The reception team receive, assist and direct patients to the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective manner. Being the first point of contact the successful candidate will project a positive and friendly image to patients and other visitors, either in person or via the telephone. Other reception related admin duties vary on a daily basis and will include, but not limited to, district nurse referrals, creating cyber forms for investigations, processing various requests from clinical staff. It will be expected that the post holder will be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of any child or adult he/she is responsible for or comes into contact with.
