HRGO Recruitment is seeking a Client Logistics Coordinator for a well-established transport and logistics brokerage company based in Eastbourne. This is one of 100 branches nationwide and over 400 worldwide.
You will need to be highly independent and client-oriented. Your responsibilities include providing exceptional client support, advising on suppliers, and continuously self-educating to become a trusted consultant.
Your role as the primary point of contact will require attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and relationship-building abilities. A keen interest in logistics and persistence in acquiring relevant knowledge are key to success.
Key duties include:
* Responding to client queries via phone, email, and social media
* Preparing quotations based on client specifications
* Communicating with carriers, head office, and suppliers
* Supporting the sales team with administrative tasks
* Building relationships with clients to enhance retention
* Collaborating with internal teams
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records
* Providing shipment status updates, including delivery schedules and delays
* Handling complaints professionally
* Staying informed about industry trends, procedures, and regulations
Role requirements:

* Advanced IT literacy
* Experience in logistics is advantageous
* GCSE qualifications or higher
* Located centrally in Eastbourne
