Overview
Clinic Manager / Physiotherapist - Motus Amberley. Motus Amberley is located with the Amberley Fitness Centre - North Canterbury Sports Trust. The Motus Amberley Team consists of three physiotherapists, a podiatrist and two clinic administrators/receptionists. Being the sole physio clinic in Amberley, the clinic is busy seeing musculoskeletal patients as its core caseload. The clinic also provides clinic-based rehabilitation across all major ACC physiotherapy contracts (ICP, Concussion, Training for Independence, Pain Management Services) and has contracts with Te Whatu Ora to provide a local MSK outpatients service, and the Better breathing program. This is a fixed term maternity leave role for one year. Our preference is for full time hours of work, but we are happy to discuss flexible options to meet your family and personal needs.
Right now, we have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organised individual to lead our Amberley team. You will provide local clinical and operational leadership to the Motus Amberley team through clear direction, guidance and people development. Responsibilities include maintaining a clinical caseload, as well as supporting the team, with oversight of clinical quality & role modelling, patient experience and financial performance. You will be the local ambassador for company information, ensuring that each of your team members are connected to the Motus strategy and vision and are implementing plans and initiatives consistently across the local area.
Responsibilities
* Provide local clinical and operational leadership to the Motus Amberley team through clear direction, guidance and people development.
* Maintain a clinical caseload while supporting the team with oversight of clinical quality, patient experience, and role modelling.
* Monitor and contribute to financial performance of the clinic.
* Act as the local ambassador for Motus information, ensuring team alignment with strategy and vision and consistent implementation of plans and initiatives.
Qualifications
* Experienced Physiotherapist with good people skills and ability to establish working relationships internally and externally.
* Client-centric approach with a strong work ethic focused on achieving outcomes for patients, team and business.
* Previous management/leadership experience is not required; a willingness to learn new skills and drive exceptional team performance, clinical outcomes and patient experience is valued.
* Willingness to participate in orientation and leadership training.
