About the role
Artus Air is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to work closely with the Finance Manager and Logistics team in a cross-functional role that will support both the accounts and purchasing functions, with a strong focus on operational efficiency and customer satisfaction across a portfolio of 40+ live projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in financial processes, supplier coordination, inventory purchasing, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Key areas of the role will surround:
Finance:
1. Process supplier invoices, ensuring approvals and accurate coding
2. Prepare domestic and international payment runs
3. Reconcile supplier accounts and company credit cards
4. Manage AP/AR ledgers, including customer invoicing and payment tracking
5. Verify and process staff expenses in line with policy
6. Support month-end close: accruals, journals, and ledger adjustments
7. Maintain accurate digital and physical financial records
Logistics & Fulfilment:
8. Coordinate daily with Sales and Production to monitor order readiness
9. Communicate delivery timelines to customers and internal teams
10. Oversee third-party logistics and internal transport for efficient execution
11. Manage the full fulfilment cycle, resolving issues proactively
12. Maintain system updates and customer notes for seamless operations
13. Contribute to process improvements across logistics and customer service
14. Ensure quality standards and contractual
What we're looking for
To be successful in this role, the following experience is required:
15. Solid understanding of accounting and bookkeeping, including double-entry and month-end close
16. Proven experience in logistics, fulfilment, or supply chain within fast-paced environments
17. Excellent stakeholder management skills
18. Strong IT literacy skills
19. Strong verbal and written communication skills across teams and with external partners
20. Customer-focused with a professional, problem-solving approach
21. Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage competing deadlines
